Leitmotif Studio

Leitmotif Studio is a collaboration between Xin and Lei, a play on the shared character of their names “蕾” ("lei"). Through their respective disciplines, they hope to create works that are timeless and memorable, like a leitmotif.

 

At Leitmotif Studio, they embrace the essence of 'leitmotif', weaving distinctive and recurring themes into the fabric of their creative expression. Much like a leitmotif in music, they believe that design, illustration, and photography should harmonise seamlessly, creating a resonant and memorable impact.

In addition to their studio's client project offerings, they also have a fun in-house project: Sariel and Mollie. Silly but relatable, these two cats embody a bit of their characters, the disciplined hustler and the lazy bum. The illustrations are available in various forms - cards, stickers, tattoo sheets, lanyards, keychains and zines.
